Middle River Bridge

We have been designing and building resource bridges for over 40 years. Through the sixties and seventies, West Shore emerged as the primary forestry bridge builder in the province. In 1976 West Shore constructed one of the largest glue-laminated timber bridges in the world at 700 feet in length with a 206 foot main span.

Our expertise and methods have been honed over about one thousand resource bridges completed for a diverse range of clients. Today we offer a complete package of services required for the life-cycle of a resource bridge. Starting with innovative design and engineering solutions, through procurement, site preparation, environmental protection, installation and safe removal. West Shore is committed to providing its clients with cost effective solutions and safe, environmentally responsible execution.
